Origin
Designed by Robert Welch, the celebrated designer.
Quality
Made from high grade 18/10 stainless steel,
CAMPDEN was a very high quality luxury brand very near the top of the market,
that sold well for a quarter of a century,
and has been in great demand ever since,
due to the simplicity of it's traditional elegance, and good balance.
Date
Made from late 1950s to early 1980s.
Versions 1 & 2
CAMPDEN has 3 versions -
2 are visually identical, except for the maker's marks,
as they were made on the same production line -
Old Hall, and Walker & Hall.
2 Mr Halls?
The 2 'Halls' were NOT connected -
Old Hall was named after a Salvation Army hall (!),
while Mr Walker took a partner named Mr Hall in 1853.
